Dealer school typically lasts from 8 to 12 weeks, based on games being offered. Strict attendance policies apply. Satisfactory completion of a class does not guarantee a dealer position. New dealers will begin as seasonal hires and as openings occur, may be offered part-time or full-time status.

The cost of tuition for the Blackjack Dealer Training Program is $250. A $50 deposit is required to reserve your place in the class, and is due one week prior to the class start date. My name is David and I'm the head trainer at Rockstar Dealing Academy. I have over 13 years experience in the dealing industry. I currently work in the Silks Poker Room located in Tampa, FL. I offer a fun 6 week course where I'll teach you how to become a professional poker dealer. You do not need any experience to begin. 18+

During the 6 weeks training you will learn dealing mechanics-- cutting/counting chips, shuffling, and correct pitching. From there you'll learn 7 Card Stud Hi Lo, Texas Hold em, Omaha Hi Lo, and Pot Limit Omaha. If you're interested in traveling I will also teach you all games listed in WSOP link above! Once you've completed your 6 weeks you are welcome to continue attending as long as you need at no extra charge!
